The sky should be readable by more people.
We design CosmoToolbox to be usable with a keyboard, at different screen sizes, and with motion-reduction preferences. Accessibility is ongoing work, not a finished claim.
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Current considerations
- Page structure uses headings, landmarks, descriptive link text, and labels for calculator controls.
- Site navigation can be operated by keyboard; the compact navigation pattern includes an accessible menu control.
- Content reflows for smaller screens, and the interface respects reduced-motion preferences.
- Article images include alternative text when they carry informational content.
Known limits
CosmoToolbox has not yet completed a formal accessibility conformance audit. Scientific visualizations, interactive calculators, third-party live data, and future advertising integrations may need additional testing and improvement.
